LETTER Classical and Quantum Evolution of Non-Isentropic Hot Singular Layers in Finite-Temperature General Relativity

چکیده
The spherically symmetric layer of matter is considered within the frameworks of general relativity. We perform generalization of the already known theory for the case of nonconstant surface entropy and finite temperature. We also propose the minisuperspace model to determine the behavior of temperature field and perform the Wheeler-DeWitt quantization. PACS number(s): 04.20.Fy, 04.40.Nr, 04.60.Kz, 11.27.+d

Quantum Geometry and its Implications for Black Holes∗
General relativity successfully describes space-times at scales that we can observe and probe today, but it cannot be complete as a consequence of singularity theorems. For a long time there have been indications that quantum gravity will provide a more complete, non-singular extension which, however, was difficult to verify in the absence of a quantum theory of gravity. By now there are severa...
متن کاملPositive Solutions to Singular Second and Third Order Differential Equations for Quantum Fluids
We analyze a quantum trajectory model given by a steady-state hydrodynamic system for quantum fluids with positive constant temperature in bounded domains for arbitrary large data. The momentum equation can be written as a dispersive thirdorder equation for the particle density where viscous effects are incorporated. The phenomena that admit positivity of the solutions are studied. The cases, o...
متن کاملDetecting the location of the boundary layers in singular perturbation problems with general linear non-local boundary conditions
Singular perturbation problems have been studied by many mathematicians. Since the approximate solutions of these problems are as the sum of internal solution (boundary layer area) and external ones, the formation or non-formation of boundary layers should be specified. This paper, investigates this issue for a singular perturbation problem including a first order differential equation with gen...
متن کاملQuantum Geometry and Its Applications
In general relativity the gravitational field is encoded in the Riemannian geometry of space-time. Much of the conceptual compactness and mathematical elegance of the theory can be traced back to this central idea. The encoding is also directly responsible for the most dramatic ramifications of the theory: the big-bang, black holes and gravitational waves. However, it also leads one to the conc...
متن کاملExtended Geometry of Black Holes
We reconsider space-time singularities in classical Einsteinian general relativity: with the help of several new co-ordinate systems we show that the Schwarzschild solution can be extended beyond the curvature singularity at r = 0. The extension appears as an infinite covering of standard Kruskal space-time. While the twodimensional reduction of this infinite sequence of Kruskal-Szekeres domain...
